The Oom Carlo's identity, extended

This system extends the company's 2025 corporate profile: a dark, editorial, industrial system built on ink black, a single vibrant orange, warm paper breaks, a high-contrast serif for display, and motifs drawn from the company mark as a design language.

The logo

Client-supplied PNG artwork, used exactly as delivered. It carries its own wordmark and text, so no separate wordmark is ever built. The file is never modified; web-ready sizes are exported from the original transparent master.

Colour

Every value below was sampled from the live site — 19 rendered pages, histogram per page, verified against full-page renders. Orange never exceeds roughly eight percent of any viewport.

Type

Bodoni Moda, a high-contrast Didone serif, carries display lines the way the profile carries them. Satoshi, a grotesque sans, carries the interface. Both are self-hosted.

Purpose

Motion expresses route, momentum, and reliability. The page feels like a route being travelled.

Hierarchy

Hero reveal, then section entries, then micro-interactions, then the pinned route journey.

Timing

UI 150 to 250ms. Reveals 450 to 650ms. Hero 900 to 1200ms. Route scrub is scroll-driven.
